Volute
Class 40 cast iron
Centerline & tangential options, designed for drop-in replacement with CFD-developed hydraulics. Designed for drop-in replacement (no piping changes required); designed using CFD analysis; large cleanout handhole covers; largest possible drain ports; standard ANSI B16.5 flanges.
Impeller
Class 40 cast iron
End suction, single stage with large unobstructed eye for lowest NPSH. Latest generation hydraulic design developed via CFD analysis; available in closed & open style designs; handles multiple hydraulic profiles from high head / low flow to low head / high flow.
Shafting
416T stainless steel
Engineered to minimize deflection at design point. No more than 0.002" of deflection at design point at maximum duty.
Wear Rings
420 stainless steel
Press-fit wear rings for reduced losses and quiet operation. Offered in both radial & axial arrangements; designed to handle highly abrasive fluids; fully replaceable.
Rotating Assembly
Standard non-proprietary greased ball bearings
Bearing array rated for a minimum 100,000 hours at maximum loads. Usable in all offered orientations; standard, readily available high-end greased bearings; interchangeable with motor connection for added flexibility in some applications; no end clearance adjustment required; no alignment needed; NEMA C-Face mounted motor, directly mounted on bearing frame; integral motor stand; interchangeable with dry-pit submersible connection motors.
Seal
Cartridge / split mechanical
Set-and-forget seal installation. Standard cartridge mechanical seal; optional split mechanical seal.
Maintenance
No alignment or end clearance adjustment required. Set and forget seal installation; bearing greasing scheduled annually.
Driver Compatibility
Electric motors, with submersible motor capability for interchangeability. NEMA C-Face mounted electric motors; submersible motor option for interchange with dry-pit submersible installations.
Retrofit Capability
Dimensional drop-in and hydraulic match to existing systems, assured through precise measurement. Fully dimensionally and hydraulically interchangeable with legacy dry pit horizontal solids-handling pumps.
Configuration
Three arrangements available: horizontal; vertical line shaft driven; vertical pedestal mount.
Standards
NSF approved for specific configurations listed above. Standard ANSI B16.5 flanges throughout.
Pumps larger than 16" suction, or applications requiring an open impeller, will require end clearance adjustment & flexible coupling.
